The producer
Sophie and Vincent Morey both hail from families of winegrowers in Santenay and Chassagne-Montrachet, respectively. After studying at Beaune’s Lycée Viticole and gaining work experience in St-Emilion in the Bordeaux region, Vincent returned to his family domaine, led by his father Bernard Morey, in 1986. That same year, Sophie was crafting her first vintage for the Ménager-Belland domaine in Santenay, continuing the winemaking tradition passed down from her mother. In 2006, Sophie and Vincent established their own domaine and celebrated their first harvest in 2007. They treat their vineyards with the care and precision of gardening, believing that fine wines begin with quality grapes, require meticulous attention to detail, and demand adaptability from the winegrower and winemaker each vintage.
