Veneto IGT

Overview

Veneto IGT covers the entirety of the Veneto region and covers a large range of wine styles from red, white, and rose, to sweet wines. The rules of the IGT label are relatively liberal compared to those of the individual DOCs or DOCGs and as such, when it comes to premium and fine wines, this label is often for wines which for some reason (for example use of too high a proportion of international grape varieties) cannot be produced under the DOC or DOCGs labels.
