Rosé wine
Rosé wine is a type of wine that incorporates some of the colour from the grape skins, but not enough to qualify it as a red wine. Most Rosés are produced by allowing mid-length contact (usually 2-3 days) with the skins during fermentation.
Rosé gets its name from the French word for "pink. The pink colour of Rosé can vary from pale salmon to vibrant pink depending on the varietals used and winemaking techniques.
