Pierre Gonon

Situated in the original heart of the Saint-Joseph appellation – around the villages of Mauves, Tournon, and Saint-Jean-de-Muzols – the Gonon brothers (Pierre Gonon handed over to sons Jean and Pierre at the end of the 1980s) have 10 hectares of steep granitic hillside vineyards.

Farming organically since 2004 the vines are old and replaced by massale selection to ensure the diversity and strength of the vineyards. The wines are fermented in old oak vats and show the rich, wild, dark fruits of old-style Saint-Joseph with hints of black olive and violets. This is what great Saint-Joseph should taste like!
