Elio Sandri

Since 1965, the Sandri family have had their base and winery “Cascina Disa” in the heart of Monforte d’Alba. Vineyards are planted between 300-500 metres above sea level, with prime eastern and southern exposures, and are farmed with as little intervention as possible. Around 3,500 bottles are produced per year, and the winemaking at Sandri is as low in intervention as the vineyard work. Ripe, exuberant and modern in style, these wines are thought by many to be some of the best in the region.
