Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron
The highly reputed domaine of Jean-Jacques Confuron took a great leap forward when Sophie Meunier-Confuron and husband Alain Meunier took control in 1983. By 1990 the vineyard holdings had been converted to organic viticulture, with ploughing by horse, and also adopting the biodynamic lunar calendar for vineyard and winery work. The wines began to take on greater depth and clarity soon becoming one of Burgundy’s most highly regarded estates.
