Clos de la Roche Grand Cru

16.89ha. The largest of Morey’s Grand Cru Clos, Clos de la Roche is largely owned by the pre-eminent Domaine Ponsot but has several other top-class growers. Its size and the representation of wines from Ponsot, Lignier, Jadot, and Coquard-Loison-Fleurot make it one of the most famous Grand Crus of Morey, if not all of Burgundy.

Butting the line of the Grand Cru Chambertins to the north, the wines have a profound richness akin to these northern neighbours with a touch of the perfume, grace and elegance of Clos Saint-Denis and the other Morey Grand Crus to its south.
