Chateau Malescot-St-Exupery’s history can be traced all the way back to 1616, when it was owned by the Escousses family, notaries for the king at the time. in 1697, Simon Malescot acquired the estate and changed its name. After the French revolution the estate was split between family members and then in 1827 sold to Count Jean Baptiste Saint-Exupery who appended his name to that of the chateau.
