Chateau Grillet

The 3.5-hectare Chateau Grillet is a monopole estate appellation, which was owned by the Neyret-Gachet family from 1827 until 2011, when the property was purchased by Artemis (the investment firm founded by Francois Pinault, owner of Ch Latour amongst other top wine estates).

Located within the Condrieu appellation on the right bank of the Rhone River and with Cote Rotie in the north and St-Joseph in the south, Chateau Grillet’s vineyards lie in a south facing amphitheatre, which creates a hot and sunny microclimate, for the grapes, protected from northern winds.
